Rehab Day 17- spent Breakfast & Lunch with Marion (Still on bed rest with the clot in her leg)! Jim and I kept her company and we did way too much giggling thanks Jim and his wonderful Sense of Humor. Mom and Shelby came for a visit and it couldnt have been more timely as today my PICC would not give any blood return. Both lines flushed fine but just wouldnt give any blood. They called the PICC Specialist and he came in and assessed it. We did some Cath Flow which took quite alot of time to even get that pushed in. Anyways he did finally get it back to 100% operational! Mom was asking questions along the way and we discovered that some protocols were not being followed here which is most typically why my lines quit working. Notes were made in my chart so proper procedure will be followed more stringently. I did one hour of PT where we did some much more advance Abdominal exercises. My PT, AL, only works weekends. the rest of the week he does Home healthcare. There is a good chance he may be who I see when I transfer to Home healthcare. Very nice and we had a great session. I had some tests today for some issues I started having from the last Gastroparesis flare. Happily I can report they have resolved and all my organs are working perfectly again whoo hoo!!
