Reigning PSL Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns, picked up another pre-season win after they scraped past Zimbabwean outfit, Dynamos, 1-0. Coach Pitso Mosimane gave a start to new signings, Lindookhuke Mbatha and Asavela Mbekile, while another new signing, Rheece Evans, came on in the second half. The visitors got off to a good start in Zimbabwe, as they took the lead in the opening stages of the first half through new signing, Mbatha, the 28-year-olds strike proved to be the only goal of the first half. The Brazilians survived a scare late in the second half, as they conceded a penalty but substitute goalkeeper, Wayne Sandilands, saved Devon Chafas spot kick. Sundowns held on for their third successive 1-0 victory on tour in Zimbabwe, after defeating CAPS United and Highlanders in previous fixtures.
