Released December 15, 1972: STATUS QUO Piledriver. Their fifth studio album. The beginning of Quos Golden era. The album was in the UK charts for 37 weeks peaking at #5. The single Paper Plane was the first of thirty-three consecutive Top 40 hits on the UK Singles Chart when it peaked at #8. The album also featured the classics Dont Waste My Time, Big Fat Mama and their cover of Roadhouse Blues. The cover says it all Heads down hard boogie.
