Reliability engr did in schl talks abt havn alternatives nay standby systems so as 2 ensure continuity i.e, preventn system failure/breakdown. This course roots in natural systems where we find d moon n d stars keepn standby for d sun, ensuring light to d earth as d sun sets. Also in human body systems, we c us havn 2 kidneys, 2 eyes, 2ears, hands, legs, name them. When 1 is bad, d other ensures the system doesnt fail entirely. Thats what is incorporated in engr systems; standby generators, backup power systems, spare tyres in vehicles, etc. An interesting thn it really is, 1 that shld be adopted in lyk many spheres of life.
