Religion enslaves the minds of many. Children born into religious family are given an ultimatum; to believe or perish. Christians teach kids that the only way not to go to HELL for eternity, when they die, is to BELIEVE in Jesus christ, god, the creator, etc.. I find this wrong that parents bring there children to a place that tells them they will suffer forever in hell if they dont believe. This below me may be hard to grasp, but from me to you, I have been raised southern baptist from the very beginning of my remembrance, up until I was the age 16. I started thinking how there is a religion for every continent on the globe. All of them have denominations i.e baptist, christ, methodist; islam- sunni, shia, etc. We go to wars over religion because the ideologies clash, with one religion thinking the other is nonesense, or one feels superior to the other. WE WILL NEVER HAVE PEACE ON THIS PLANET AS LONG AS RELIGION THRIVES. THERE ARE TOO MANY FOR ONE TO BE RIGHT. You either choose to BELIEVE one of the various religions.
