Religion is killing Nigeria, it has eaten up our heads such that we think drug addicts who associate themselves with God have become so holy not to be questioned. Is the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo in his ways of behaviour anything to write home about? Does Ayo depict anything close to being holy? Why do we allow pretence in the name of God consume our un-biased judgmental ability. Nobody who holds a public office is above criticism. Mallam Nasir El Rufia is only trying to make a point, if Ayo feels otherwise, then he should come clean and exonerate himself. CAN or no CAN, people should stop trying to intimidate Nigerians using religion. The western world that brought religion to us as a way of taming our resistance to civilisation have long left religious imaginations to ply the route of reality towards genuine developmental strides. As stupid as we are, it is now that Nigerians/Africans are busy doing "fake" religion. Why then is corruption on the rise? Who are the perpetrators if not these same folks? People rig elections and hurry to go and do thanksgiving.....Rubbish!!! This is my humble submission and I owe nobody an apology...I remain Peters Charles, cordinator G.A.S.M.
