Remember Jimmy? Jimmy was the horse I pictured a few weeks ago with the plastic shoe. Well the plastic shoes didnt last, but with some out of the box thinking by Jimmys farrier he is on the road to recovery! Jimmy felt much better during his massage therapy this time. Still some pain and tension through his shoulders, and weakened stifles but a HUGE improvement! I really cannot emphasise the HUGE improvement enough, it has to be the biggest improvement I have seen in my career to date. In these pictures Jimmy is happily working on his core condition and flexibility with his owner. Now that Jimmys shoulder isnt bothering him quite so much and he is once again able to move comfortably, he and his owner can now focus on re-conditioning. This is a massive accomplishment for a horse that could barely walk when I first met him! Just goes to show that when dealing with horses, we must look at the whole horse and work in partnership with other professionals to get the best outcome for the horse!
