Remember how much fun it was to play in the rain when you were a kid? Well that is what I did tonight. I ran for 5 miles while it poured on me. I splashed through the puddles and sang along to the rhythm of my feet. After a week of speed and hill work in high heat, the last thing I wanted was a serious run. So I just let my pace be my pace. It was a great run and the only thing that cut it short was the flashes of lightening that started and spooked me into heading home.
