Remember last year when I bugged you all about signing the Change.Org petition I wrote asking Austin to ban steel leg hold traps in the city limits? One year later, still working on it with many other people. We read so many wonderful things about coyotes, they mate for life, take care of their young, never have hurt a human being in the history of the state of Texas. On and on. Well it became a great joy in our group to see a coyote. And the night I walked out of that forest for nine hours, for the first time I spotted a coyote. Such a joy! And so symbolic at the time. My spirit animal. Austin, has got to ban these cruel traps and I appreciate everyone who signed the petition.
