Remember the ballot initiative #California passed to increase space for laying hens? Now theyre paying the cost of the decision - egg prices have more than doubled as cost of raising hens has increased and flock size has dropped by nearly 25% in two years. Have a food preference? Great, enjoy that ability to choose! But it should not be right to impose that choice on everyone else. Eggs are an important source of protein, affordable by working families. Now, it appears Californians may be pricing them out of reach by imposing their food choices on others. Lets not even start on HSUS involvement in this whole debacle and how Californians played right to their scheme of removing animal products from our plates...
