Remember the time I was in the Czech Republic, and I jumped out of the train at a train station and realized 0.35 seconds later that this was the wrong station even though it had the SAME NAME as the right train station which was the NEXT stop, and I turned around to jump back on the train and the door slammed and the train started moving, and I beat on the doors and asked the conductor to let me back on, and he shook his head and shrugged, and the other three people in my family faded into the distance on the train, and I walked 2.1 miles in 28 minutes to the next train station (because there were no taxis...or ATMs...in this barren farm neighborhood) trying to make our connection, and Google maps refused to connect so I had to play Charades with the locals who didnt understand English, German, or Spanish for Where is the train station, please? Yeah, good times! I think one of my nieces will have PTSD for months after this. If you ever feel your trip lacks local flavor, I highly recommend this.
