Remember when we used to party up all night? Doreen asked her best friend as they sat outside her trailer sipping some red wine. Oh, honey! LuEllen sighed deeply, Those are days gone by! We got married, had kids and well, the rest is history, at least for me, that is. Now, if I stay up late, the next day, I feel like Ive been run over by a truck. Doreen said truthfully. God bless your little heart, Doreen.....with the men you date, that truck reference is perfect. Ha! Doreen laughed, That was an unintentional funny. I cant complain. Tommys the best and hes a hard worker to provide for us all. With Tommy Jr.s asthma and little Brads orthopedic shoes........woowee! Im glad he had pretty good insurance. I thank goodness all my rugrats have been healthy! Theres something true about letting them eat dirt......develops antibodies, Ive heard. Doreen took a big gulp of her wine and stretched back on the step. I tell ya....Im really bored. Im just so stir crazy. Havent really been out in a while and when I have, its a quick Wham bang, thank you maam, and Im back home. I could sure use some dates and going out to bars, you know....where the men pay my way and I drink like a fish! This time it was LuEllens turn to laugh and she added, Maybe we need to schedule a girls night out? Maybe next weekend? I would love that! Its been a while! And by the way.......did you hear that Brenda Lee and her husband split up? No!! Who told you? I heard it while I was at the Piggly Wiggly! Girl!!! Brenda Lees husband is hotter than a pepper patch! Finer than frog hair. LuEllen agreed. Whats his name? I dont remember, but Im going to find out! If she didnt want him, I sure could use a ride. Does he have a nice truck? I wasnt talking about no damn truck, now was I? Doreens wide grin said it all.
