~ Remembering Ahmed Faraz ~ Ahmed Faraz is a familiar name to all poetry and ghazal lovers. His nazms and ghazals have been sung by leading ghazal singers. His most famous ghazal Ranjish Hi Sahi has been sung by leading ghazal singers including Beghum Iqbal Bano, Farida Khanum, Mehdi Hassan and Ghulam Ali. Runa Laila, Talat Aziz, Padmaja Joglekar and a few others have also sung this ghazal. An accomplished poet of the recent times, Ahmed Faraz died a few days back (August 25) in Pakistan.
