Remembering... First Tower: Driving back from the gym with Tim and hearing the news...assumed it was an accident Second Tower: In the office of our Grad School apartment talking to my sister who was a student in DC, when she discovered that Washington was a target and her phone signal went out-for hours, then I heard Tim scream and fall to the ground as he has watched the tower crumble on TV. I went to pick up the kids I nannied for and their dad met me there telling me that he and his wife needed to be with them _He taught me so much about parenting in those brief moments. That evening we gathered with thousands of BU students for a vigil and painfully learned that several of our students and friends were aboard the flight that hit the second tower. Remembering the uncertainty and fear, the grief and the loss Remembering the strength and solidarity and hope and faith that were raised from those ashes.
