Remembrance Day 10th November 2013 Passenger information for closures and diversions for Remembrance Day services Last Updated: 07 November 2013 9:43 AM To allow for Remembrance Day Services to take place there are a number of roads and junctions closed on Sunday 10th November. Please see below to see how this might affect you and find out about diversions that are in place. We are also expecting some delays on Sunday morning during the period that these closures are in place. Witney Between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon, Corn Street will be closed between Holloway Road and Market Square. The S1 will divert via Welch Way to the High St. Carterton Between 10:15 am and 11.30 am Alvescot Road and Burford Road will be closed to traffic. All S1 services between these times will terminate at Bovingdon Rd. Then resume service via Broadshires and Norton Way back to Carterton Rd. Oxford City Centre Between 00:01 and approximately 14:00 St Giles will be closed, therefore the normal St Giles closure diversions will be in place: 2/A/B/C/D, S4 and S5 – (Banbury Road, Parks Road, Broad Street, Parks Road and Banbury Road) X5 - (Banbury Road, Parks Road, Broad Street, and George Street) 17c – (Walton Street, Worcester Street, Hythe Bridge Street, Railway Station, Hythe Bridge Street and Worcester Street) S3 – (Woodstock Road, St Margaret’s Road, Banbury Road, Parks Road, Broad Street, Parks Road and Banbury Road, Canterbury Road and Woodstock Road) Services that usually drop off on Magdalen Street East will now drop off the south side of Broad Street prior to Turl Street.
