Remind yourself, each day, the following: Nothing is free. No one loves you but your Mother and Father, sometimes your spouse, maybe your spouse, perhaps your children, but never, never, ever the anonymous caller who reports you have been selected, chosen, or randomly drawn. Did I mention that nothing is free? Ten million scams are hatched daily to separate you from your money and most come by the internet, the telephone, or email. Never, ever, ever, ever give your personal financial information or the ability to access your financial information, I.e., Social Security number, password(s), bank account numbers, etc., to anyone, EVER. And be suspicious of anyone, especially a stranger, coming with gifts or the promise of gifts, because nothing is free! My inbox is cluttered each day with announcements that I have won some award, gift or bonus. I have been chosen to earn $75.00 per hour working for Facebook, Microsoft, or some familiar Organization, or a Wealthy Man in Africa died and his widow doesnt know anyone but me to leave his $$million$$ to. I just received a call from a (jumbled) Department of the Federal Government that each year holds a lottery and gives 1500 surprised Americans a $9,000.00 gift. But I had to accept it by giving them my debit card info, including my password, or bank account, or Visa card, etc. My caller ID showed a Washington telephone number. I asked, tell me again which government office you are with, and the caller hung up immediately. The caller ID was non-existent. I wish I had just given them my information; I could sure use that $9,000.00 bout now. Beware!!!!!! Jerry D. Shaw
