Reminded this morning of just how short life is, how tragedy can hit at any moment. Without prejudice, without warning, without a chance to say one last I love you or have one last conversation. My heart weighs heavy this morning, my mind in shock , my breath just as the first day he came into my life is taken away. A beautiful son, brother, friend and man was snatched from our lives today and I though I do not understand why, I know it was Gods timing. Greg Gardner, I never thought youd be snatched from the lives of those who love you, so young and so prematurely- life had only just begun...I wish that this was all just a horrible nightmare! Lord, I ask that you shield me with your protection as I take this 14 hour drive home to Florida to say good bye to the brother you gave me through the precious life of my son. Jason Gardner, I love you , David Bud Gardner, I love you...I am on my way. Please keep the Gardner family in prayer today and through out this tragedy.
