Reminder... The DROOL Crew wants to help the American Childhood Cancer Organization Inland Northwest *FILL-UP* their Toy Poke Box at the Canines vs Cancer event THIS SATURDAY July 19 inside of the AIR CONDITIONED Greyhound Park & Event Center in Post Falls, ID! So far weve accumulated 24 coloring books, 24 boxes of Crayola crayons, Duncan yo yos, Sea Monkey kits, stickers, temporary tattoos, bracelets, necklaces, Little Golden Books & other chunky books, Play Dough, Stuffed Animals, kits of farm animals & little green Army men, Disney, Barbie, Marvel, Dora the Explorer & MORE... Kids make so many trips to the hospital over course of their Cancer treatments, but this simple toy box creates a much-needed distraction, helps them laugh & gives each child a reason to smile! When visiting for chemotherapy, blood draws, etc. (anytime their skin requires being poked) child may visit the Toy Poke Box upon leaving to pick out a treasure. It isnt easy keeping this box full because demand is often greater than incoming donations. Parents take a lot of time off work when their child is in the fight, so although these items arent expensive, they add great value ❤ If you have brand new unwrapped items to donate, please contact Mary Charbonneau & she will help make arrangements for pick up / drop off or you may bring to event THIS SAT 7/19 (admission is FREE).
