Reminder for parents of elementary school students signed up for summer school: The summer school program begins Monday, July 15. The program will be 9 to 11:45 a.m. M-Th until Aug. 15. Jenna McCormick will be teaching DK-2nd grade and Sara Smith will be teaching 3-5th grade. Again, this is only for students who were previously notified about summer school. Also, Thumb Area Transit will be contacting these households soon to arrange for transportation. Those with questions can call (989) 453-4600 and select option 2 for the elementary school.
