Reminiscing with family about PBB exposure in Southwest Michigan and the movie Bitter Harvest which depicts the disaster. For those who dont know, my father was a farmer in southwest Michigan during one the most catastrophic agricultural disasters to happen in US history (which the movie was made after) Over 30,000 cattle died and thousands of farmers and people poisoned which caused long term health and cancerous side effects. (My dad included).. My dad made me watch Bitter Harvest a lot as a child. I never saw him cry but during and at the end of that movie... every time. I think Im going to watch it again tonight, because I miss him. And if you dont know about the PBB exposure and the catastrophe that resulted, look it up... and watch the movie! It was a major event in my Dads life. #FarmersDaughter #Cows
