Renowned social worker Olung Panggeng dies at 65 DIPRO, PASIGHAT, Sept 23: Renowned Social Worker Olung Panggeng took last breath yesterday on 23rd September last at his Balek (Pasighat) residence after prolong illness. He left behind wife Moi Panggeng and three sons and eight grand sons and daughters. Olung started his career as a junior teacher in 1964 and retired from service on 1989. Being the Vice-President of ‘Pusi Olung Welfare Society’, he actively participated in social works for well being of humanity. State’s Education Minister Tapang Taloh, Member of Parliament Ninong Ering and 38-Pasighat MLA Kaling Moyong in their messages expressed their deep shock and grief and prayed almighty for eternal rest and peace in heavenly abode.
