Report on Strelley Hall Ghost Hunt 11th of April Nottingham Strelley Hall Nottingham Friday 11th of April Clear starry night. Sam and Gemma on this vigil. Sam -Mediumship vigil 1, Mediumship vigil 2, Equipment Vigil 3 Gemma Victoriana vigil 1, equipment vigil 2, victoriana vigil 3. Mediumship vigil – Tower (castle) room and morning room Victoriana – Kitchens and Pannelled Room Equipment – Cellars and Dungeons. Sams first two mediumship vigils were quiet, although sam and another guest sensed there was a little boy, and faint taps were heard, but not conclusive whether or not it was coming in the room or not, or whether it was natural. Guest Dowsing had picked up on Edward Strelley and Also Edward Edge and pointing to where they were in the room, and slight taps heard from Susan Rice when asked, although we could not find the source of where they were in the room. There was also power drainage to Martyns camera battery from full to almost empty as well. Gemmas victoriana vigils the first one had a spirit that had come through with a personal message, and a lady called Susan Rice who was a secretary in the 1970s and the second Victoriana sesssion was quiet. Equipment vigil, Gemmas session there was quiet, but Sams session started quiet with a big build up to the end. The dungeon revealed no k2 flashing, but ovilus said leave and also Robert, David, and London and Evelyn. When going back to the cellar section, Sam felt like she wanted to go through this door, which lead into a kind of wine cellar. K2s base readings were normal, then we called out and flashing occurred. After flash for yes and no flash for no, We found it was a servant aged between 20-25, liked his ale, wasnt married. During lone vigil time the consensus was to get back there, and when doing so we found he was 22. We also had the spirit of a man who had been to our previous ghost hunts of last weeks Doncaster Air Museum, and Februarys Coalhouse fort, an SAS man called Ben Cedric. At the end of the evening we couldnt resist going into Strelleys graveyard, but was peaceful and quiet, the way a graveyard should be. Strelley Hall is a facinating place, a historical building that has Georgian, Victorian, and medieval structure. The best part was the equipment vigil with the Ovilus and the k2 meters and the male servant who flashed when he said he served Samson De Strelley in the 1300s we was there for a good half an hour, and when the Servant flashed for a yes he was from London, it tallied up with what was said on the Ovilus. The buffet took place at 11pm and they put on a really good spread, with ham cheese tuna and beef sandwich platters, salad, sausages, sausage rolls, doritos, dips and cuecumber and celery, French fancies, victoria sponge and Bakewell tart, there was enough to feed double the amount and was totally stuffed by the first break. The owner made us feel very welcome and it was a pleasure to discover the ins and outs of the building.
