Reports are now emerging that Jules is undergoing surgery and will be under 24hr observation. Other reports claim that he is also able to breathe without assistance and that every driver and several team members are at the hospital where he is treated. I want to stress that the surgery is by no means a bad thing. Yes, it confirms to us that the situation is serious, but they wouldnt be carrying out the operation if they werent confident that he had the strength to survive and strongly benefit from the procedure. It is unlikely that we will hear much more for the next 24hrs minimum. Even then, he may still require additional treatment and/or observation. But the good news is that he is in safe and capable hands and that he is receiving prompt treatment. He is also surrounded by his friends and colleagues, and that will give him strength. On behalf of all the admins of F1 Banter Page, we wish Jules a speedy recovery and send our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family during this tough time. -Ryan
