#Repost In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Allah says in surah al Qadr: “Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree), And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allahs Permission with all Decrees, Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.” (Al-Qadr 97:1 - 5) Lailatul Qadr is the Night of Power or Destiny in which our code of guidance, the Holy Quran, was revealed from the Lord of the Universe to Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam. We are currently searching for Lailatul Qadr, the night better than thousand months. •►The Messenger of Allah(sallallaahualayhi wa sallam) said: Seek Laylatul-Qadr among the odd numbered rights of the last ten nights of Ramadan. [Narrated by al-Bukhaari,2017: Muslim] ⇨Laylatul Qadr falls in the last ten days of Ramadan. Allah describes this night as better than a thousand months. This night is equivalent to 1000 nights of worship. And so whoever misses it has indeed wasted a great amount of good as 1000 nights of worship is an equivalent of 83 years and 3 months which is equivalent to a person who has spent an entire lifetime in non-stop worship. •►Allah’s Messenger used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time.” (Muslim). Aisha radhiya Allahu `anha reported that With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. [Bukhari] •►It as narrated by Abu Hurayra that Prophet (peace be upon him) said, Anyone who stays awake for the Night Of Power with belief and for the pleasure of Allah, all his previous sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari and Muslim) ⇨The messenger of Allah said: The person who deprives himself from the blessings of Lailatul qadr, indeed has deprived himself of all good and none other than an ignorant person is deprived from such good. (Ibne Majah). •►Aisha radhiya Allahu `anha said: “O Messenger of Allah! What if I knew which night Lailatul-Qadr was, then what should I say in it?” He (peace be upon him) said.- “Say.: Allahumma innaka ‘affuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘annee. “O Allah You are The One Who pardons greatly, and loves to pardon, so pardon me.”. [at-Tirmithi and Ibn Majah with a Sahih Isnad] Allah is Al-Ghaffar (الغفار) The Forgiving, Ar-Rahim (الرحيم) The All-Merciful O Allah; Give my dear brothers and sisters (including me) courage and determination to pray more during these last days of Ramadan. O Allah, accept my good deeds . O Allah, grant us Lailatul Qadr & forgive our sins. Ameen. ►Please do not forget to make dua for the unity of our ummah and our brothers and sisters struggling for the sake of Allah.
