Reposted from Raveler Britt: If you traveled through Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City July 21 and have come up one knit sock short, I found it. It was past security and on the floor in the middle of the concourse. It’s out of a self-striping yarn of a hearty variety, possibly of German manufacture, one that will get very little use in Oklahoma. I struggled past the weird looks and turned it in at my gate. I explained how much work went into this humble sock and they made an overhead announcement for the entire airport but no one claimed it. Once the gate crew grasped the seriousness of the loss, they promised to put it in the airport lost and found. So please, if this is you, contact the airport, they have your sock! Heres to hoping the sock and its owner are reunited soon. Would that everyone was as conscious as Britt of the value of a lost sock!
