Please PM me if you can help! Thank you for adding me to the group! Please take a moment to read about my situation..and let me know if anyone can help! I have worked in cat rescue for 10+ years. I have fostered hundreds of bottle babies, kittens and nursing mother cats. When I lost my job over a year ago I became desparate...and despite my own personal views...I took a part time job working with a persian breeder until I could get back on my feet financially. In her defense...she mostly bred to show...did not have a huge cattery...cats were well cared for. Anyway...while working for her I fell in love with one of her cats and she gave hime to me....she also convinced me to take his sister due to an injury she sustained after being purchased. This made cat number 7 and 8 in my house. Shortly after bringing the cats home..the male was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Knowng I already had to many cats...and with all the medical issues with the male...my mother took the female persian to live with her and her other cat. My mother passed away in September. It was very unexpected. My being the only cat friendly person in our family..I now have her 2 cats. This makes 9...plus I still foster kittens for a local shelter. I am quickly discovering I do not have what it takes to care for so many cats...especially the kind that need bathed and shaved constantly. lol. Financially it is becoming very hard to care for them all...and I am afraid I am going to get in trouble for having so many. I am looking for a rescue or foster for the cats that came from my moms. As much as I would like to keep them...I just cant do it forever. If you know any one who would be interested in these girls...please let me know! Maggie...Spayed orange and white female persian 3yrs old...Had hip surgery...walks with a limp but is super happy. Gets along with other cats and calm dogs. Easy to bathe. Pugsley...Spayed dsh white and tabby 4 yrs old...super sweet...gets along with other cats and calm dogs.
