Reposting for the families I know that are affected by this very thing--- families on all the spectrums.... A topic that was sadly posted about today. Strong mamas who have had to be the LOUD voice for their children who have been set aside by the system... A system that forces children to FAIL before they are offered help or options...a system that leaves families BROKEN and feeling INFERIOR because they are not given the tools they need to be IN the EDUCATION system until they have FAILED, or until their WARRIOR mamas stand up and make people ACCOUNTABLE. Our kids deserve better--- and as a system that is dedicated to the educating and care for children, there HAS to be a better way....
