Reposting this. Jason Samel helped ANOTHER one of my friends this week. Time is running out! If you need help, reach out to him TODAY!!! 1. If you already signed up for a plan, and later realized your plan is not good for you, you can still switch through the end of open enrollment 03/31/2013. If you need help, call Jason. 2. You pay the same price for coverage whether or not you use a Broker (like Jason) or a Navigator. Dont go at it alone, it makes not sense. 3. If you earn between $15,970-$22,980 as a single and chose any plan other than SILVER you should go back and look at the silver options because they are far better than what you have chosen. DO NOT CHOOSE GOLD OR PLATINUM IF YOU FALL INTO THIS LEVEL (message Jason to ask him why) 4. Most people are talking about massive deductibles in Obamacare plans and we have recently come to the conclusion that most people are confusing the Maximum Out Of Pocket with the Deductible. These are 2 VERY different concepts, while Max Out Of Pockets range from $2,000-$6,350, Deductibles only range from 0-$3K in any given plan with the majority of folks getting deductibles $2K or under. 5. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SHOP! Most who says their premium have gone up due to Obamacare have never looked at the new Obamacare plans available ON the EXCHANGE, and instead they kept whatever plan the carrier migrated them to, without ever seeing what they would qualify for on the exchange. IF YOU NEVER LOOKED at the plans available on the exchange, and took what your insurance company migrated you to, I GUARANTEE you that you are paying too much for your coverage, and are very possibly in a plan that it no good for you. 6. Most Americans qualify for subsidies. Over 70% of Americans earn under $46,000 a year, which is the threshold for a single person to get a subsidy. 7. Attention IMMIGRANTS! You DO NOT NEED A SOCIAL SECURITY # TO GET COVERAGE! 8. If you have UNITED HEALTHCARE or OXFORD INSURANCE you are likely paying way too much for your insurance. Look at your options. 9. Look at the Non Profit Insurers before any other plans, they are the least expensive, and often have the most comprehensive networks. 10. WHERE YOU LIVE plays a HUGE role in which plan is best for you. Check your networks to make sure your doctors and hospitals close by are in your network. A brokers (like Jason) can do this for you.
