Trying to find new ways to punish myself, I thought it would be a good time to try more of a power lifting routine with 1 main movement for 10 sets of 3 using about 60% of max weight, followed by some accessory work for back, shoulders and triceps. One of the finishing moves Ive read about was the Farmers Walk. Didnt think too much about it until I had about 100lbs in each hand and walked for 1 minute, followed by a 1 minute rest. After about the 5th round, I had to call it quits. Tomorrow is a lot of rehab, flexibility and strengthening for lower body with a focus on glutes and hamstrings. This could get ugly.
