Representative Hastings had a valid point which is similar to the way I was thinking. Mine had to do with standing. In other words, who is the injured party? I cant see John Boehner representing the entire house as the injured party. Especially when the entire House wasnt given an opportunity to indicate that they were injured. Additionally, which House was injured? Was it the 2014 House or the incoming House members? Im no attorney but common sense tells me that this makes little sense and Frivolous Lawsuit is being, too kind. Since Republicans wanted the portion of the law removed, which in actuality the portion that was delayed, which is the same portion that the multiple attempts to over turn dealt with, then how the heck can you claim to be injured when you are on record saying that you object to it being part of ACA? There is a term for folks who behave in this way. Schizophrenia. If the House was a person, I would expect it to be walking down the Street alone, arguing with yourself. If you were a dog, I would expect you to be going in a circle, trying to bite your own tail. If you were a horse, I wouldnt be at all surprised to see you pitching your own horse shoes and trying to attract horse flies. You might be caught putting square wheels on your wagon. Boehner trots out every few days, flanked with 6 or seven guys from Uncle, and the token of the day followed by Ted Cruz looking like Grand Pa Munster. If I wanted reruns from the 60s I would refer to U-tube, not the Republicans from Washington. This is one time that it makes more sense if the Speaker of the House was silent. Stop claiming to be Conservatives because you guys do nothing but waste money, tell bad jokes and talk crazy. I understand that its been a while since you tried to pass a Bill but thats no reason, not to try. This is no game. These are peoples lives. Someone said, give us a few months. What difference does it make? Good questions. I have a question. Are you stupid? If your wife, Mother, Father, child or friend was looking at deportation, would it make you any difference? I get so tired of folks acting like they dont understand why people come here. If youve crossed the border through El Paso or drive along the Border near Juarez or listen to the News, you will probably figure it out. If we ignore Mexicans and think about all the other people here from other Countries will little to no freedom, then you should understand why. If they are so concerned about all the folks that have waited in line so long then why no sign some legislation and make their wait time shorter? But then I guess that would involve them finally trying to legislate. Finally coming up with an idea that doesnt start with Anti and Strike down. Work on a jobs Bill that produces jobs. Representative Hastings has been very kind. At no point did he call anyone stupid and he never used the word stupid. Hes a gentleman. I on the other hand simply cant think of any more descriptive terms, therefore I can feel myself reverting back to my youth. Stupid fits but dumb butt sounds even better.
