Republic Act. 8293. Copyright Law of the Philippines. Plagiarism of Intellectual Property is a huge violation as stated in one of the Countrys Constitutional Law. Before they edited the caption, the page grabbed a picture taken by Miss Jackie Boholano and posted it without crediting miss Jackie as the owner. The Caption is clearly bias and stimulated controversies and issues. I would like to emphasize a very irrational and insulting comment made by the page, They want to fail the students. Many people were affected and the situation is getting worst because of the Admins arguments about the unending Issue. The admins ignorance regarding the basic rules of journalism and ethical considerations are evidently obvious as their arguments later become insulting. This was not for the students to have difficulties neither it is to complicate anything about it. Faculty Members were, and are just finding ways for more just and fair examination (They know what they are doing). Exactly why all teachers undergo General/Basic Psychology Courses as included in their prospectus.I have been idolizing this page since I liked it, but I have to say, If the admin was trying to enter the premises of Journalism, this post is not qualified. The Institution obviously has the right to complain about this post. Do not take sides lage. You can be sued if you will not be careful. Gosh this is Immaturity, This is a huge slap on the face of profession. I am not only sad because the page posted a defilement to our institution, but I am also embarrassed because of the Admins ignorance regarding ethical considerations. I may not have a degree.. but I rationalize everything I say, and everything I publish.
