Republican: The only people who should advise the government are experts in their field, and acting on behalf of citizens Defender of the Crown: Anyone is not as expert as the Queen, She has for about 60~ years reigning, she knows very well how politics and society works. She have passed wars, economic crisis and political turmoils, She has all these experiences. It is also a two way relation, because the Government advises the Queen too, and the Parliament constraint and delimit her roles.
