Republicans hold a 49%-47% edge over Democrats among registered voters in the 2014 generic ballot for Congress, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll. Thats a dramatic turnaround from one month ago, when the Democrats held a 50%-42% advantage over the GOP in the generic ballot, which asks whether voters would choose the Democratic or Republican candidate in their congressional district, without any mention of the candidates names.
