Repurposing household waste: rectangle shaped plastic bottles such as those that milk or some cordials come in can be repurposed into dividers for drawers. Cut the bottles down so the base height fits inside the drawer and use to sort out small items such as stationery items in your desk drawer or to keep your socks sorted or to sort out the kids toys in their room or to sort out small kitchen items. If you melt the top rim of these containers to make them rounded they can be used as a feed dish for animals in care. Partiuclarly good if you have diseased animals in care and want to ensure that the disease is not passed on. The top section that you cut away can be planted beside a tree in your yard and used to fill up and water the tree. It can also be used as a funnel for pouring sugar from a canister into a sugar bowl or to funnel used kitchen oil into a sealable container for disposal. Do remember to cut the ring top on all plastic bottles. These cause a great deal of harm to wildlife. Milk bottle tops can be used as a food dish for small mammals or birds when tiny amounts of food are needed. Consider using the milk containers or cordial containers instead of buying canisters for your pantry, flour, sugar or any other pourable substance is easier to manage; or to store animal food powders in such as milk powders, insectivore etc.
