This course must be completed by every EMS provider by June 1, 2014 Protocol Updates Successful completion of this course prior to July 1, 2014, will meet the protocol update training requirement for all Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Life Support (ALS) providers in Maryland. NOTE: Providers should complete the course which corresponds with their individual levels of certification to assure appropriate completion credit. This course has been approved for 1.5 hours of Local Option/Category 2 continuing education credit by MIEMSS.
