Rescues are never easy and our latest one was especially difficult. Yesterday we took in a dog that was left to die at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialist by its former owners. Supposedly he was mutilated by their other dog and afterwards just thrown out into the backyard with no effort to seek medical care. Several hours later they decided to at least throw him in the back of their truck and take him to GCVS. Showing no interest in wanting the dog or even the willingness to get his nearly lifeless body out of their truck an employee picked him up and rushed him to the ER. Weve taken this guy in and will need your help raising the funds needed to pay for his amputation, hospital stay, and all the other medical care he will need until he is ready to go into his waiting foster home.
