Resentment is Relentless. It must be removed properly or will - TopicsExpress

Resentment is Relentless. It must be removed properly or will always rise back up. It can not be covered up with the expectation that it will just go away. The opposite of resentment is acceptance and forgiveness. To fully understand how resentment effects us, first we must literally write down the resentment, why and how we are affected, how the other person may have felt or acted, then dig deep to see our own part in the picture. What did we/I do? How did I act or react. Then talk to God about it, discuss it with another person whom you trust to help you see objectively ( a different perspective ) because our tunnel vision is usually not the actual truth. But in some cases, harm was inflicted and we didnt play a part in it. Either way, we must accept that people are human, some make mistakes and learn, others are just mean and hateful. To remove the resentment, write it down Look at it from more than just your own view Talk it over Pray for Gods help to accept and remove it, and pray for them. Let it Go, truly let it go Resentment is not revenge or a reminder to keep yourself from being hurt again, instead it is a deep wound that never heals, the scar tissue gets thicker and thicker and brings intense pain every time its bumped. It must be removed completely and filled will love. Jesus loved us, though his own followers deceived him, he still sacrificed himself and forgave all and continues to do so to this day. I dont know bout u, but I want to be more like him! LOVE is the greatest Commandment!!!! Resentment blocks us from being Happy, but most of all-it blocks is from The Lord. If you took time to read this: get your pen and think hard, take action and be free and happy, dont put it off any longer.
