Here’s the scoop! 8 hours before the Texas Psych Garage III extravaganza next March, we’ll pack the “Psycho Bus” with you, your friends AND the 60’s music legends who lived it! That’s right! They’ll all be aboard! See the boyhood homes of Billy Gibbons, Don Summers, Tommy Moore and Dan Mitchell of The Moving Sidewalks! Don Lampton of The Fever Tree, and Willie Scott Chambers of the Glass Kans! Terri Sharp! Tom George, Larry Lawson and Bruce Tinch of The Clique! Hear the real inside story about Neal Ford and The Fanatics rehearsals from W.T. Johnson, whose parents’ house was dubbed (no pun intended) the “Practice Playground”! Personally raise and lower the garage door at John Wilson’s house where the Surfside Six, and, later, the Magic Ring practiced for months to play mostly for exposure. Special stops like the famous Ames Complex in Tanglewood (not there anymore, but we can stand in the general vicinity and have pictures made next to cut-out figure of Bob Cope. The memories will rush back as we come to a dead stop on the freeway where the Catacombs used to be for more pictures Love Street too! Enjoy a casual lunch at the Memorial High School cafeteria.
