Okay!!! So it seemed when they started calling themselves bloggers, we thought they would follow the pathway of their brothers in other countries like Tunisia and Egypt and Syria but NO!,They did not think it that way.They thought only of their stomachs and dreamed big dreams of cars they would drive after meeting with one big politician or the other.The conferences they would attend and then post pictures on facebook.They thought of the big hotels they would sleep in and the plane tickets and honorariums and kodak moments with various governors and even the president himself. Sadly,these thoughts were the foundations of the beginning of the end. They went into action,united as one unit at first and then with time gained the attention of the wolves in our leadership positions and juicy offers were made to them and they started scattering like sheep without a shepherd. Some went the way of the Rivers state Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Some went to Oronto Douglas, some to Olisa Metuh, others to Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and some to Bola Ahmed Tinubu led APC and some to Gen.Muhammadu Buhari and so it continued until they became known as bloggers Disunited.Yes thats what I choose to call them because they started with hurling insults at each other on social media and then it degenerated to threats and then full scale war and character assassinations and all what have you. Then they started finding themselves again, then they decided that since we can all just hate one man, then, why are we fighting ourselves naa? So one fell out of favor with his madam the former Aviation Minister and quickly rushed to the Amaechi camp and pledged loyalty and then that one came up with a bright idea. Oga, why dont we organize an event and claim its for your birthday celebration so you can show off some of your works in Rivers state? And what will we call it?, asks the oga. Ehmmm...well, we can call it #TheAmaechiIKnow and we will say its a brain child event of Nigerian Bloggers As is expected, oga no de waste time for anything that brings him close to the television, he jumped at the offer and went ahead to approve release of funds for the event and called on the commissioner for Education to ready a bus that will convey his guests to the same school that he has visited over 20 times and shown to both Oyibo and Blackkie tire.That commissioner no get option but to comply.She sef don tire because estate wey de build for Port harcourt de take too much of her time.But oga don talk be say oga don talk. SO they came, the bloggers, they saw and they conquered, in their minds anyways...They have all gone back to their various abodes and have now mended fences are now post in unison.No more divergent views.In fact some are loving themselves now.(not that kind of loving you are thinking oh), pure agape love save one wey I sure say don give person belle.I no go talk him name shaa. Now my question is them is this? All these waka wey una waka na for who abeg?No tell me say na fr the soul of Nigeria oh because that one na better lie wey no get duplicate.
