Researching kits/parts for a DIY Gibson Explorer. Doesnt need to be perfect and precise to every detail Gibson makes but I dont want to absolutely lowball my build quality either. Got next to no building experience either so pre-drilled, pre-cut bodies and necks would be ideal. Ideally Id want to change a fair amount of things on a stock Explorer. Some ideas I had were installing an Ibanez ZR tremolo instead of the hardtail, 24 fret neck instead of 22 and four control knobs like an SG or LP instead of three. Now I understand theres almost nobody that would sell all that in one package, hence looking for parts to put the puzzle together. Anyone able to help me out?
