*BEE STINGS*... A few little ones of my family were stong (sp?) by bees or wasps within the last week so I thought I would share this. In english this plant is known as "common plaintain", in SENCOTEN(not sure how that would be spelled) the loose translation is "the white mans foot print". The plaintain can be found on the edges of meadows/grassy areas, along pathways and any disturbed areas. Collect one leaf per sting, gently chew it up(if possible have the person stong chew it) then apply it the sting. It can be used for mosquito bites as well.
