Resisted slide to sprint. Reflecting the initial fight and chase in the game of football. The first 5 yards is a fight. If you make it past that point, youre going to either chase someone down or pull away. The sandbag in this video is 60 pounds. It feels like 200 when your sliding. After you drop the weight, you legs are filled with lactic acid but you have to have the focus, heart, and drive to keep your technique around the cones. Most trainers are just doing drills to get you tired with no concept or philosophy behind what they do. Have a purpose and ask questions if you dont know why you are doing what your doing.
