Resolution or not, I made some personal changes this new year. The most important decision I made was allowing God to restore my relationship with Him. As you probably know, I was distant from God for many months due to being disappointed by an autism diagnosis. Shame on me. My son, Israel is unique in lots of ways, including autism, but because of autism, we have people in our lives that we would have never had. I now see God in autism. So, instead of blaming God for not preventing autism, I am now thankful for it. It took me a long, long time to come to this realization, but I am thankful to God that He removed the blinders. I love my family a lot and I would not change a thing! I have great friends as well and I love and appreciate them (you)!
