Respectfully... If you saw and hated the Jose Padhila version of ROBOCOP I dont think you got it. Its not a film for harkening back. The originals broad and at times almost slap stickish humor wouldnt jive today...at least in the same way...I liked the comments on technology and stuff like being a company man. The family arc was a little much, and Murphy being pretty cognizant all made sense in the world Padhila and Co. were creating. This goes up there near DREDD and JOHN CARTER on the I Dont Know What You Wanted But I Liked It shelf.
