Response to Questions re Method of Smart Meter Refusal There are many different ways that individuals can refuse to be intimidated by BC Hydro. We do not know what it will take to stop this smart grid, but we do know that we at CST will do all within our power to continue to work through recognized and legitimate legal and human rights systems to challenge and stop the smart grid. We limit our suggestions and support to these same legitimate avenues which are available to all within our society today. That being said, we cannot endorse or support any action or method of resistance that could possibly put anyone in danger, for or against this cause. We specifically cannot endorse anything that appears to be associated with the Freeman of the Land movement, whether real or imagined, as this group is now listed on the FBI’s domestic terror watch list. Association with Freeman of the Land type activities, or just the appearance of association, could put a person in danger, regardless of whether or not there is an understanding or knowledge of what this means. The answer is simply, yes, you can participate and use any of our forms and letters as nothing a person can do individually with regard to such choices could affect the lawsuit one way or another.
