Response to a reader who felt that it is wrong to put blame on America for what has happened in Syria and that the blame should rest solely on the Syrian regime alone: Dear viewer, the truth of what has been happening in Syria over the last two years is that the US and the West has given a green light to all of the massacres, torture, destruction of towns and cities. The chemical massacre in Ghoutah is only one massacre of thousands that have taken place and the people of Syria hold 100-200 funerals on a daily basis. The undisputable fact is that the US has declared that it does not want to remove the regime and has agreed with the outside opposition that live in hotels in Turkey which are funded by the West that the regime in terms of its army, security apparatus, judiciary must remain in place in any change and that the planned Geneva 2 conference will be when a deal is made between the regime and these so-called western sponsored opposition. This is the declared US position which they have repeated time and time again. As for the people of Syria they are struggling to free themselves from western subjugation and for the establishment of an Islamic State that is free from western interference. In the weeks prior to the chemical attack the revolutionaries had made major gains on the ground which brought them much closer to bringing down the Syrian regime. The chemical attack has given the green light to the US to intervene in Syria to enforce the above mentioned political solution in which faces change but the regime stays in place i.e. like what happened in Tunisia and Egypt. We do not blame America because they are only doing what their capitalist belief dictates and they have been consistently doing this for decades whilst bringing misery to the world. Their claims of human rights and democracy are only tools used to further their interests. In Syria all that they have been doing is to try and enforce their solution against the will of the populace who desire Islaam. Blair stated the day before yesterday that military intervention was necessary to prevent Islamic extremism. We must understand these points clearly to understand the truth of what western intervention means in Muslim lands and we must not compromise or allow any avenue for them to interfere in our affairs irrespective of what the West wants to achieve and what they desire for us. The people in Syria have declared: We will never bow down to other than Allah. We support this position and ask Allah to hasten the victory for His Deen so that the goodness and guidance of Islaam can spread in the world and counter the ills and calamities that Western capitalism has brought to this world.
