Responsible for designing user experiences (including user interface, interaction and visual design) for web and software applications, implementing the front-end code (HTML, CSS/SASS, ERB, JS). Design user experiences from high-level research, planning and user journeys to interactions, graphics and visual design. Working from upstream design specifications (wireframes and the equivalent), or from suggested approaches, develop a variety of graphical design sets, including – High fidelity page screen, interface designs and artwork. Graphical interface assets required for coding purposes (e.g. range of images, CSS specifications). Styling guides and specifications to support correct downstream coding and development activities. Write clean, semantic mark up and styles for application views in HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS and compass. Applications will support HTML 5, Android, and iOS. Develop interactions in CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery. Plan and maintain high-level front-end architecture of web applications. Ensure designs are consistent with / follow broader style guides / specifications currently being used across platforms. Provide general support across the business in relation to design practices and considerations.
