Results from NWA Top of Texas 10/26/13: A very special Pipers Pit kicked off the show with Nathan Briggs playing dress up for Halloween. His chat with the Canadian Pitbulls had everyone pumped for the main event, but drew the ire of the champion, Benny Benitez with his gifts for the Logan Dynasty. This lead to Jack Logan employing Fate Inc. into an immediate 3 on 1 match up. Match #1: Fate Inc. vs. Nathan Briggs While Nathan Briggs was capable of fighting off Hudson Crowley and Ryan Justice on a couple of occasions, the muscle Joey Armstrong would always come in and put him right back on the ground. A late attempt at an upset was eventually cut short but Joeys Chokeslam. After that match, Benny hit the ring and borrowed more from the Piper Playbook and smashed a pumpkin over Briggs head. BioHaxxxard chased Benny off and challenged him to a fight later on. Winner by Pinfall- Fate Inc. Match #2: Number One Contendership Fatal Four Way for the Panhandle Title Cancun Kidd vs. Copycat vs. Shane Garrett vs. El Josho Jackersono With partner Nolen Phillips at ringside, the obviously masked Josh Jackson, Cancun Kidd and Shane Garrett took their turns early at dismantling Copycat. But, as one would expect with a title shot on the line, it all broke down. It was fast paced and chaotic, and it seemed the match would come down to Cancun Kidd and Josh Jackson, but Fate Inc. made their way to ringside and stalked the injured Nolen Phillips. Josh immediatly left the ring to aid his partner, and Cancun Kidd got out of the ring to assist his new allies. The six of them brawled to the back as Shane Garrett trapped Copycat in a Figure Four and picked up the victory. Jojo Benitez immediatly hit the ring and let Shane know exactly who the champion was by laying out his would be challenger. Winner and NEW Panhandle Number One Contender- Shane Garrett Match #3: ToT Heavyweight Champion Benny Benitez vs. BioHaxxxard (Non-Title) In a battle of true heavyweights, Bio and Benny crashed bodies over and over again. Powermoves from brutal Lariats to a head dropping Power Bomb was just a few of the devistating blows. Benny finally toppled Bio with a Death Valley Driver. Winner by Pinfall- Benny Benitez Match #4: Missdiss Lexia and Starr Venus vs. Paula Fate and her mystery partner Paula Fate revealed her partner as the womens heavyweight Bree Ann. After Lexi and Starr had some fun at Paulas expense early on, it was mostly Breannes power that allowed Paulas mean streak to shine through. As Breanne and Starr brawled on the floor, distracting the referee, Paula used a steel chair to plant Lexi face first and steal the victory. Winner by Pinfall- Paula Fate and Bree Ann. Main Event: Best Two Out of Three Falls for the ToT Tag Team Titles Absolute Rebels (c) vs. Canadian Pitbulls Both sides immediatly start out by brawling to the floor. Arik Angel takes it back to the ring with Cody Jones and counters with a Small Package to pick up the surprising first fall. Pitbulls up 1-0 The pace slowed down as the Absolute Rebels took over. Jack Logan got involved (of course), leading to the second, highly disputed fall. Tied Up The pace picked up again as both teams began to trade blows over and over. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as Jake finally nailed his Rebel Knock Out and picked up the pin. True Rebels 2-1 Arik Angel of the Pitbulls got back on the mic and said the second fall was BS and challenged the Rebels to ignore it since it was so controversial and give the crowd own more fall, winner take all with Jack Logan banned from ringside. Jack at first wasnt going to allow it, but after a quick talk with his advisor, Annie Outlaw, he agreed to it. She would play the key factor in the finale, distracting the referee and passing on Jacks spur to Cody Jones. The Pitbulls blocked the weapon attack and used it themselves, but the referee turned around in time and disqualified the Pitbulls. Winners and STILL Tag Team Champions- The Absolute Rebels The Pitbulls were enraged that they, just like the teams before them, had been screwed over by the constant antics of the Logan Dynasty. So, they continued to use the spur to lay out the Rebels and stole the titles. If you want these belts back, you can coem and get them or wait until November 30th where well be back in town. How will Jack Logan respond to the Canadian Pitbulls stealing his property?
