Resume Writing & Interview Techniques Workshop Today 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. McCarl Center Conference Room, 4th Floor, Cathedral of Learning ALL MAJORS AND CLASS YEARS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AS WELL AS MILITARY ALUMNI AND SPOUSES!!!! Refreshments will be served • Learn how to best incorporate your military service on your resume and prepare for a job or internship interview. • Learn each step of the interview process including preparation, tips for the actual interview, and steps for managing expectations for what comes after the interview. • Learn how to translate your military experience into civilian terminology and emphasize transferable skills on a resume. You are encouraged to bring your resume if available to have individual questions answered. The Resume Writing portion of this workshop will be held from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. with Curtis Raybuck, Veterans Employment Coordinator; U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Interview Techniques portion will be facilitated by Brianna McMeekin, Career Consultant; Career Development and Placement Assistance Office, University of Pittsburgh from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
