Reta Jo Dunn was born May 31, 1934 in Eakly, OK to Norvel Louis “Sleepy” and Reba Sledge Cart. She passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at her home at Lookeba, OK, at the age of 79. Jo graduated from Hinton High School. She married Johnny Dunn in Anadarko, OK on May 25, 1952. Jo worked for TG&Y in OKC in the early 1970’s. They lived in South Carolina from 1960-1962, in Memphis, TN from 1962-1972, in OKC from 1972-1978, and in Jacksonville, FL from 1978-1987. In 1995, Jo and Johnny moved to Lookeba. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and a big love for her family. She was a member of the Red Hatters, and of the First Christian Church in Hinton, OK. Survivors Include: her sons, Steven Dunn and wife Beverly of Sherman, TX, and Randy Dunn and wife Kathy of Moore, OK, her grandchildren, Heather Watts, Misty Craft, Dustin Dunn, and Julie Dunn; five great grandchildren; her brother, Jerry Cart of Benton,LA, her sister, Mickey Brown of Hydro, OK, as well as nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
